Last but defo not least, a fun little campaign we did to launch a capsule collection with WP, Italy's first importer of americana clothing 🦅
WP played a key role in the development of the paninari - a youth subculture of posh kids obsessed with americana, girls and motorcycles

They'd hang outside of fast food spots, eating panini (sandwiches/burgers) from which their name comes from



We pay homage to the paninari while subverting one of its key principles - the paninari were boys only. Meanwhile our hero character, the gran gallo (top geezer 💪) is a girl
She symbolises the contemporary rebirth of the paninari, while her counterpart, the boy (same hair, same outfit, same bike) symbolises the past
There's a tension between the two


The film highlights some of Milan's hangout spots which were important to the paninari: Bar Basso and Gelateria Sartori


And the photography comes plastered with stickers which are a throwback to those found in paninari style magazines of the day
